Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) are physical, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities that can occur in a person whose mother drank alcohol during pregnancy.
FASD Awareness Month is a perfect time to spread awareness about the lifelong effects that can be caused by drinking during pregnancy. FASDs are 100% preventable if a woman does not drink alcohol during pregnancy.
